Is there life out there somewhere in the solar system? Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal discover alien life but it is not quite as friendly towards humans as they had hoped.
The new trailer for the sci-fi thriller Life debuted recently from Skydance and Colombia Pictures. This space-set movie is about how the six-person crew of the International Space Station makes a life-changing discovery that will become a monumental event in human history. When they find evidence of extra-terrestrial life on Mars, the crew begin their research. Unfortunately, the methods they use have unexpected and undesirable consequences as they learn that this life form is significantly more intelligent than they could ever have believed. The potential for horror in this movie is clearly demonstrated in this clever trailer.
Behind the camera and directing the movie is Daniel Espinosa whose previous work includes Safe House (another Ryan Reynolds hit) and Child 44. Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who were responsible for the massively successful Deadpool (yet another Ryan Reynolds hit), are possibly why such big names have been attracted to the movie, including Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) and Hiroyuki Sanada (who was in another space thriller, Sunshine). It is expected that Life will hit movie theaters on 26th May 2017, the Memorial Day weekend.
